Pasikudah Bay is one of the most mesmerising bays on the East coast of Sri Lanka south of Trincomalee. The shallow coastline with crystal clear waters make an excellent hotspot for sun worshippers and swimmers. Over the years Pasikudah has been developed and there are a few really stunning resorts which offer a high standard of service. Tourists can just sit back and relax or participate in the water sports such as wind surfing, jet skiing, catamaran sailing or snorkelling. If you feel energetic try a bike ride to the fishing villages and stunning paddy fields. Vakarai Lagoon 45 minutes north from Pasikudah is a great place for bird watching.
