Nestled just 16 km north of Trincomalee, on the East Coat of Sri Lanka. Nilaweli is a tiny fishing village with gorgeous white sandy beaches with palm trees an absolute paradise and rivals the beaches of the Maldives. Peaceful and unspoilt and the crystal waters are ideal for snorkelling. Uppuveli and Kuchchaveli are both popular and quiet places in Nilaweli. There has been some major developments within the last few years and therefore a good standard of accommodation is available. As with anywhere in Sri Lanka the locals are very friendly and hospitable. One of the best beaches in Sri Lanka , it will just take your breath away.
